Which Braces Should You Get? – Dentist Lifestyle

I believe braces are your only alternative. This YouTube video “Types Of Orthodontic Treatment Which Braces Are Right For You?” provides all options available and will help with your decision. We’ll tell you more.

For children, it’s a good idea to see the orthodontist. Phase I is an initial procedure in which children have mixed dentition. This means that they are still able to see primary and baby teeth. They’ll not get a full set of braces, but the initial treatment may help with the time that all of their second teeth come in. The treatment is offered to patients aged between 7 and 12 years of age.

Patients can also select Phase II where they have an entire set of braces as all secondary dentition has been taken care of. Braces will be worn at different times based on the condition of their teeth. Teeth that are younger make it easier to get orthodontics and therefore it’s better to have your teeth fixed as a child. There are orthodontic procedures that can to last 12, 18 or 24 months but the benefits outweigh any time length. Go through the video to find out more about getting braces, and call us when you’re ready to make a change in your smile!
